Binh Phuoc connects to EuroCham businesses with '4-good platform'

(VAN) 'Business Connection Forum: Industrial, Trading and High-Tech Agriculture EuroCham-Binh Phuoc Province 2024' has the participation of approximately 360 domestic and international delegates.

“Business Connection Forum: Industrial, Trading and High-Tech Agriculture EuroCham—Binh Phuoc Province 2024” was held on the afternoon of March 12 at the Binh Phuoc Provincial School of Politics Conference Center.

The forum is chaired by the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), and the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA). In addition, the forum is also coordinated by Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Group (Netherlands), and the Vietnam High-Tech Agriculture Club (DAA).

Attending the forum were: Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Huynh Thi Hang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Government Office and the Southern Central Propaganda Department; and representatives of diplomatic agencies and missions of countries.

The forum was also attended by more than 100 leaders of leading EuroCham businesses from 27 member countries from the European Union, such as Heineken, De Heus, Big Dutchman, Phileo by Lesaffre, Kilimo, Logwin Air and Ocean, Stolz Asia, The Fruit Republic, Biodevas, Lallemand, Hung Nhon Aust Export, etc., and businesses from the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham).

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, said that the forum is an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to call domestic and foreign businesses and investors, including EuroCham businesses, that have reputation and financial and technological potential to invest in the fields of industry, trade, high-tech agriculture, and digital agriculture. It is expected that by the end of 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh  expressway will be completed; the Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) section of the Western North - South expressway will be completed, shortening the distance from Binh Phuoc to Ho Chi Minh City to about 70 km. And in the future, there will be the Trans-Asian railway passing through, creating a boost for the province's socio-economic development.

Binh Phuoc planning was approved by the Prime Minister, and by 2030, the province will have a total industrial land area of 18,105 ha. Of which, the new planning of 8 Southeast Dong Phu industrial parks with an area of 4,200 hectares, near Binh Duong province, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai province, will meet the needs of investors.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tue Hien affirmed that Binh Phuoc is transforming to integrate with the world, and investors will enjoy the highest preferential policies on taxes, land rent exemption and reduction, infrastructure connection support, vocational training, and support for businesses working in the field of information technology. At the same time, investors will also be recognized and respected, and they will implement international treaties on investment.

With the "4-good platform" of good infrastructure, good human resources, good policies, and good public services, Binh Phuoc aims to meet service needs the best and satisfy investors, including EuroCham. The province commits to always stand side by side, accompany businesses, and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest, produce, and do business.

With advantages in geographical location, natural conditions, synchronous economic and social infrastructure, abundant land fund, flexible investment attraction policies, and human resources, Binh Duong Phuoc is the destination of the "wave" of investment movement and is a bright spot for the whole country in attracting domestic and foreign investment.

The forum was organized by Binh Phuoc province with the desire to listen to comments, absorb good ideas and valuable experiences in the locality’s development orientation, especially solutions to maximize exploitation, and effectively promote the province's potential and advantages to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the province to introduce the image of Binh Phuoc land and people of "harmony, gratitude, self-reliance, discipline, and creativity" to international friends, domestic and foreign businesses and investors.
