The press conference to announce the organization plan of “Business connection forum: Industrial, trading and high-tech agriculture Eurocham – Binh Phuoc 2024” was held on February 29.
On February 29, a press conference took place to announce the organization plan of “Business connection forum: Industrial, trading and high-tech agriculture Eurocham – Binh Phuoc 2024” was held by the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA).
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, “Business connection forum: Industrial, trading and high-tech agriculture Eurocham – Binh Phuoc 2024” will be held on the afternoon of March 12th, 2024 at the Provincial Political School conference hall of Binh Phuoc province. In addition to the chairing unit of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the Forum is also co-chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the European Business Association in Vietnam (EuroCham), and the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA). In addition, the Forum is also coordinated by Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Group (Netherlands), and Vietnam High-tech Agriculture Club (DAA).
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Huynh Anh Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, said that the purpose of the business connection forum is to connect businesses and investors in the development of industry, commerce, and agriculture applying high technology, bringing high-tech industry, commerce, and agriculture into the green, sustainable development goal of Binh Phuoc.
“With the participation of Mr. Julien Guerrier, Ambassador of the European Union to Vietnam; many Ambassadors, Consulate Generals, Counselors from countries such as the Netherlands, Australia, Hungary, Nigeria, Indonesia, Malaysia; more than 100 Leaders of leading EuroCham businesses (with 27 countries members from the European Union) such as Heineken, De Heus, Big Dutchman, Phileo le Saffre, KILIMO, Logwin Air And Ocean, Stolz Asia, The Fruit Republic, BIODEVAS, Lallemand, Hung Nhon Aust Export; and other leading business member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham); the forum will be an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to introduce and promote the local potential, strengths, mechanisms and preferential policies. From there, we invite reputable businesses and strategic investors with financial and technological potential to invest in the fields of industry, commerce, and high-tech agriculture, in accordance with economic development planning of the province," Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province Huynh Anh Minh shared.
The business connection forum is expected to bring key players in innovative agricultural industry.

In parallel with the main event, the Organizing Committee also organized a series of related meaningful activities such as: surveying industrial zones and clusters of Binh Phuoc province; displaying and introducing typical products of the province at the exhibition area on the sidelines of the Forum; Gala Dinner program after the Forum. At the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed collectively by the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province, the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA), and the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham). The MoU will formalize their collaboration to digitize the agricultural sector in Binh Phuoc using high technologies.
