The Top 50 most valuable brands in Vietnam were officially announced on September 21, 2022, in Hanoi by Brand Finance - the world's leading British brand valuation company, with offices in many countries.
According to the published results, Vinamilk is valued at $2.814 billion, an impressive increase of 18% compared to 2021. According to this ranking, it continues to be Vietnam's most valuable food brand. At the announcement ceremony this year, Vinamilk was also honored to receive the title "The 6th largest dairy brand in the world".
This is the 7th year Brand Finance - the world's leading brand valuation company organizes the Brand Finance Vietnam Forum 2022 event to announce the value of Vietnam's national brand and honor the TOP 50 most valuable brands in Vietnam in 2022. Since the first announcement in 2015, Vinamilk has appeared in 15 brand rankings of Brand Finance.
Previously, in the 2022 Global Food and Beverage Industry Report published by Brand Finance, Vinamilk brand has shown its position as the only representative from Southeast Asia in the Top 10 most valuable milk brands globally (6th place) and Top 5 strongest milk brands globally (2nd place). Although it has achieved excellent brand value, Vinamilk's development potential is still highly appreciated. Vinamilk becomes the most promising global dairy brand in 2022.
Ms. Bui Thi Huong, CEO of Vinamilk shared: “Vinamilk is always well aware of the role of the brand in the development of the company, especially in the field of food and beverage in general and the dairy industry in particular.
At Vinamilk, after over 46 years of establishment and development, the brand value was formed from Vinamilk’s biggest pillars. Those pillars are product quality, service, and reputation with consumers in Vietnam and any country Vinamilk is present. I believe that, with the efforts of Vietnamese and Vietnamese businesses, we will have many higher rankings on global rankings. We will affirm the position and value of Vietnamese national brands."
“When compared with some international brands in the region, we can see that the rate of value increase of Vietnamese brands is higher. This is due to the rapid change and adaptation of Vietnamese brands in recent years. We monitor and find that the transformation to adapt to post-Covid changes is very good. This can be an important reason for Vietnamese brands to stand out compared to the region.” - Mr. Lai Tien Manh, representative of Brand Finance in Vietnam commented.
According to Brand Finance, Vietnamese businesses have adapted well during the pandemic, with the total value of the Top 50 most valuable brands in 2022 reaching 36.6 billion USD, up 36% compared to 2021. This is also the highest increase in the region. This also shows that many Vietnamese businesses have long-term and sustainable strategies to build their brands. Brands also really contribute to the sustainable development of businesses.
“Sustainable development and the role of ESG in businesses” is also the topic of the presentation by Mr. Alex Haigh - Managing Director of Brand Finance Asia Pacific. At the forum, he appreciates the efforts of the leading enterprises in sustainable development, thereby accelerating progress and creating a positive impact for the industry as a whole.
This year, "Vietnam National Brand" was also valued at $431 billion by Brand Finance and ranked 32nd globally with the fastest growth rate in the past 3 pandemic years.
In Vietnam, Vinamilk has been honored as a national brand for 12 consecutive years and is regularly in the leading positions of brand rankings of prestigious international organizations. Vinamilk is currently the only representative of Vietnam and Southeast Asia in the Top 40 largest dairy companies globally in terms of revenue (according to Plimsoll, UK). Vinamilk has exported products to 57 countries and territories, with an increasingly expanding scale.
