Vietnam Agriculture News signs MoU with Dai Thanh JSC for the green and sustainable agriculture

(VAN) On August 16,  Vietnam Agriculture News and Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on communication collaboration, with the aim to promote green and sustainable agriculture.

Mr. Le Trong Dam, deputy editor-in-chief of Vietnam Agriculture News, said during the signing event that Dai Thanh JSC is one of the leading in the plant variety sector. The firm is home to several superior plant species, including hybrid rice. In recent years, the firm has prioritized the expansion of its profession and business lines, including the distribution of mechanized equipment and automated machinery in agricultural production, micro-fertilizers, and several smart farming strategies for climate change adaptation. 

Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company is actively involved in the supply of production solutions and processes to replicate proper production for farmers, thereby fostering the achievement o  Vietnamese agriculture's targets in reducing greenhouse gases in agricultural production and promoting the participation of farmers, businesses, and organizations in global carbon credit markets, among others.

Mr. Le Trong Dam, deputy editor-in-chief of Vietnam Agriculture News, expected that the MoU will pave the way for a stronger collaboration between the two units in providing solutions for the agriculture sector, leading to the industry's shared goal of sustainable development.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong, general director of Dai Thanh JSC, stated that the company would promote its existent strengths with the support of an experienced expert team and close collaboration with research and analysis units. Concurrently, the company would continue to focus on the study of new products, smart cultivation methods to reduce output costs for farmers and increase production value, as well as adaptation strategies for climate change, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr. Truong added, "As the tribune of MARD, Vietnam Agriculture News is expected to help promote new technologies and smart cultivation solutions developed by the company to farmers for the future goal of the agriculture industry, which is green and sustainable development, and realize Vietnam's commitment to net-zero emissions at COP26."
