In order to fully capitalize on the potential and advantages offered by its land resources, Thai Nguyen Province has made significant efforts in recent years to encourage local residents to actively adopt and apply scientific and technological advancements in agricultural production. These efforts have focused on improving farming techniques and promoting innovation to enhance productivity and sustainability. As a result, the province has gradually succeeded in establishing concentrated areas dedicated to the cultivation of high-quality fruit crops.
So far, Thai Nguyen province has established many concentrated fruit production areas with high economic value, covering a total area of approximately 2.000 hectares, of which more than 1.000 hectares of fruit trees have been certified for safe production according to VietGAP standards. Some typical concentrated fruit production areas in Thai Nguyen can be mentioned 550 hectares of sugar apple and pomelos in Vo Nhai district; 500 hectares of longans in some communes, such as Phuc Thuan commune (of Pho Yen city) and Quan Chu commune (of Dai Tu district) and 480 hectares of pomelos concentrated in Tien Hoi and Ban Ngoai communes in Dai Tu district.
In order to enhance the value of fruit trees, Thái Nguyên province has also planned additional concentrated fruit tree development areas in Vo Nhai, Phu Luong, Dinh Hoa districts...
