Recently, Tetra Pak, the leading packaging company from Sweden, announced that it will invest an additional EUR 97 million in its beverage carton production plant in Binh Duong province, bringing the total investment since 2019 to over EUR 217 million.
This investment is part of the company's long-term expansion plan in Vietnam to meet the increasing demand in the regional market.
Tetra Pak plans to expand its Binh Duong plant by adding a new production line, which is expected to be fully operational in the third quarter of 2025. This expansion will enable the plant to produce new and innovative beverage cartons.
To achieve the new production capacity, the Binh Duong plant will also increase its workforce, creating more opportunities for current employees and people in nearby areas.
Since its inception, the manufacturing plant in Binh Duong has quickly become one of the most advanced plants in the region, playing a crucial role in Vietnam as well as in the company's global supply chain.
This expansion is part of the company's plan to affirm Vietnam as a strategic market driving development for the entire region.
The upcoming implementation will be carried out in accordance with the company's commitment to environmental protection and corporate management responsibility, maintaining sustainable standards throughout the business operation.
