Tam Nong Cooperative chooses bamboo products as its major export

Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative was established in order to connect and promote clean - organic products with a vision for "exporting".

According to Mr. Nguyen The Manh - the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative, Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative will focus on main areas such as research, application and exploitation of high-tech agriculture; provide agricultural infrastructure facilities for farmers; providing input materials, offsetting output for products, exporting agricultural products to farmers in the direction of developing Vietnam's green and sustainable agriculture industry...

The biggest passion of Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative is researching and applying bamboo planting, designing and producing bamboo houses. Within one month of establishment, Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative has successfully signed cooperation agreements with partners in France to display and export bamboo products as well as assembled bamboo houses.

"We have reached an agreement to display assembled bamboo houses at a castle in France. Vietnamese bamboo products will compete directly with European-assembled wooden products. Vietnamese assembled bamboo products that have the potential to promote multi-function in the European market, will open up many new directions for farmers," said Mr. The Manh.

Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative is headquartered and operates in Cu Chi district. Speaking at the launch ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Luan - the representative of the People's Committee of Cu Chi district said that the establishment of cooperatives in the area would help the district's agricultural sector develop more, specifically, not only farmers that will have more favorable conditions to access many quality seedlings, but also agricultural products that are also being consumed...

"Ho Chi Minh City has an orientation to develop Cu Chi district into a center of high-tech agricultural production. The establishment and operation of Tam Nong Cooperative in the area are very consistent with that orientation. At the same time, the contribution of the cooperative will help the city's agricultural economic restructuring towards urban agriculture faster," said Mr. Pham Van Luan.

Also at the launching ceremony, Vietnam Tam Nong Cooperative signed a memorandum of cooperating with other units in order to realize the wishes of linking and producing and consuming high-tech agricultural products for Vietnamese farmers.
