Vietnam International Agriculture Fair 2024 attracts about 400 booths of 100 units and businesses from provinces and cities in the country such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, An Giang, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Quang Ninh, Dong Thap, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Long An, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and international businesses and joint ventures from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, etc. to display and introduce.
Localities and businesses have introduced high-tech agricultural machinery and equipment; production and processing lines and auxiliary products; agricultural supplies; post-harvest preservation techniques; agricultural, forestry, and fishery processed products; local and national specialties.
The highlight of this year's fair program is high-tech, advanced machinery and equipment products serving rice production and processing. This is one of the important contents that Can Tho city focuses on and includes in the Agricultural Sector Planning integrated into the City Planning for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Duyen, Director of Can Tho Trade-Investment Promotion and Exhibition Fair Centre, said that the Vietnam International Agriculture Fair is an event held annually since 1997.
Over many years of organization, the Vietnam International Agriculture Fair has contributed to promoting trade promotion and cooperation activities in developing high-tech agriculture. Through the event, Can Tho city also wishes to create a space for businesses to meet, exchange, share experiences, and seek cooperation opportunities.
Most importantly, support businesses in promoting their brands, promoting the export of agricultural, forestry, fishery, and seafood products, and introducing scientific advances and new achievements in agricultural production in the Mekong Delta and the whole country.
Within the framework of the fair, main activities will also take place, such as the Conference "Announcing the planning for Can Tho city's agriculture and rural development sector for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050"; the Workshop "Introducing Ecobiznet's microbial products in the agricultural sector in Vietnam"; and Displaying Can Tho agricultural technology products and equipment 2024 - Tech4Agri Can Tho 2024.

On this occasion, Can Tho Investment-Trade Promotion and Exhibition Fair Center signed a cooperation agreement with An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center and Dong Thap Center for Trade, Tourism, and Investment Promotion.
The three units will cooperate in the fields of trade and investment promotion to establish cooperative relationships, mutual support, and promote the strengths and potential of each locality. At the same time, co-chair, organize, and participate in linkage and cooperation activities for socio-economic development in the Mekong Delta region.
