Rap song raises awareness of environmental protection

(VAN) A folk-inspired rap song has been released to encourage fishermen’s awareness of a green lifestyle and environmental protection.

Entitled Giảm Nhựa Ngay Thôi, Giảm Nhựa Là Do Chính Tôi (Reduce Plastic Now, Reduce Plastic By Myself), the song is part of the action plan to manage marine plastic waste in the seafood industry in 2020-2030 period and within the communication campaign to raise awareness and change attitudes towards ocean plastic waste in fisherman and aquaculture communities.

The launch of the environmental song is sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam), hosted by Nông Nghiệp Việt Nam (Vietnam Agriculture) Newspaper in collaboration with the Directorate of Fisheries.

Reduce Plastic Now, Reduce Plastic By Myself has a joyful melody and simple lyrics to convey the message of environmental protection.
