Recently, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command has organized many propaganda activities in the province to disseminate the basic contents of Vietnam's Law at Sea and Vietnam Coast Guard Law.
In particular, the Regional Command also focuses on legal regulations in preventing and combating IUU exploitation. Accordingly, fishermen are reminded of notations when practising seafood fishing and popularize sanctions for fishing vessels that commit serious violations in fisheries exploitation...
Lieutenant Colonel Bui Vinh Tran emphasized that good propaganda and enforcement of IUU prevention regulations not only helped Vietnam remove the EC yellow card, it also gradually helped our country's fisheries industry develop more sustainably, leaving behind valuable seafood resources for the future.
