MARD appoints leaders for 2 units

(VAN) Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) announced on March 22 a decision to appoint leaderships for the Central New Rural Coordination Office and Trade Promotion Center for Agriculture.

MARD Minister Le Minh Hoan on March 22 handed over an appointment decision to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Head of the Central New Rural Coordination Office, and Mr. Ngo Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Planning Department.

Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien has been appointed as Director of the Trade Promotion Center for Agricultural for a period of 5 years, starting from March 1, 2022.

Speaking after receiving the decision, Tien affirmed that he has been ready to accept the new assignment and will do his best to lead the Trade Promotion Center for Agriculture to develop as expected by the leaders of the MARD.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ngo Truong Son was promoted as Head of the Central New Rural Coordination Office for a period of 5 years, starting from March 1, 2022.

Speaking about his new position, Mr. Son affirmed to accompany the Office’s staff to overcome challenges and release pressure existing in the process of implementing the National Target Program for construction of new rural areas.

Before being appointed as Head of the Central New Rural Coordination Office, Mr. Son held a position as Deputy Director of the Planning Department and assistant to Minister Le Minh Hoan. He worked previously as an assistant to Minister Nguyen Xuan Cuong.

Speaking at a meeting to announce the appointment decisions, MARD Minister Hoan hoped that the two new leaders would lead and convey working spirits to their staff for a stronger development of the two units.
