This is a book with Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luong - former Head of the BTA Negotiation Delegation as the chief editor, which mainly mentions the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement.

Mrs. Le Thu Huong - Chief Editor of the Vietnam News Publishing House, shared that “Upon holding the manuscript, I have already known this book is a good but thorny one. It takes us quite an amount of hardship and difficulties to be able to publish this precious book while still retaining the essence of what Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luong wishes to convey”.
Meanwhile, as stated by Ms. Virginia B. Foote: ”As an insider, I understand that if it is not Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luong who is the Head of the Negotiation Team, it would be difficult for BTA to achieve the ending as we have seen”.
“Obviously, the work is a 'machine' for journalists and researchers to understand about BTA, about the market economy in general and the US economy in particular. I think not only Vietnamese readers but also American readers that will hunt and find to read this book.”, said Mr. Ta Viet Anh, former Chief Editor of the Economic and Urban Newspaper.
In accordance with the analysis of the Major General, Editor-in-Chief of People's Public Security Magazine Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai: “The book not only helps the United States and Vietnam, which are former enemies, come together, but also helps us understand more about the economic value of BTA. It helps people understand more about the hardships and travail of the Negotiation delegation over the past 5 years...".
And as stated by Mr. Ta Quang Ngoc, former member of the Central Party Committee, former Minister of Vietnam Ministry of Fisheries: “It’s the quality of the author that makes the quality of the work. ‘Vietnam, the turn of an economy’ is the author's own experience during the 11 negotiation sessions, so it has great practical value. The book deserves to be located in libraries, references of researchers, diplomats, economists”.
The book ‘Vietnam, the turn of an economy” by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luong (Chief Editor) and 18 authors contains 264 pages, which are divided into 3 parts.
The first part, titled "BTA - the panorama of a journey", is the different perspectives on the Vietnam - US Trade Agreement, both from the side of Vietnam and the side of US politicians.
