Among the big cattle derived from in-vitro fertilization there were about 4,000 baby cows and over 1,000 baby buffaloes.
The successful applications of in-vitro technique in cattle breeding have opened a new path for the development of cattle industry in Tuyen Quang province.
Particularly, the technique will make up for the shortage of reproductive cattle and inbreeding depression that has been occurring in many localities of Tuyen Quang.
In recent years, the physical condition of cattle herds in Tuyen Quang has been improved significantly thanks to the introduction of in-vitro technique; thereby increasing the productivity of livestock production at the same time opening a new path for creating Tuyen Quang cattle brand.
