On October 8th, within the framework of AsiaBerlin Summit 2021, the "Green Tech Made in Vietnam" event will be held with the main theme of "Connecting Berlin and Vietnam - Finding opportunities".
“Green Tech Made in Vietnam” will introduce Green Technology Startups to help Vietnam adapt and reduce impacts from climate change while protecting environmental resources. At this Event, 4 Vietnamese startups in the e-mobility, energy efficiency, smart agriculture and circular economy sectors will present their solutions and answer questions from the audience.
The first startup to present at the "Green Tech Made in Vietnam" event is Wiibike. The company manufactures electric-powered bicycles using smart motors and batteries. Their vision is to accomodate 100% zero-emissions vehicles in the heart of Vietnam's major cities by 2030. Wiibike pioneers in providing green urban transport solutions that replace motorbikes and promote the sustainable lifestyle.
The second startup, IoTeamVN, is a provider of advanced IoT solutions focused on energy efficiency. Their energy monitoring solution helps customers understand the power consumption factors behind their electricity bills. IoTeamVN offers a way to cut those bills with a smart control system that automates the control of home devices.
The third startup, Hachi, also leverages IoT technology, but specialising in smart agriculture. The company provides solutions for urban agriculture and irrigation using hydroponic farms. Growing operations can be controlled from the customers' smartphones, their product lines include self-watering pots, watering timers and various grow boxes.
The fourth startup to present at the event will be PLASTIC People Company, who have turned plastic waste into harmless, attractive and useful products. The business manufactures roofing sheets, boards and poles from any kind of plastic waste, with a focus on low-value plastics that no one collects or recycles. High-grade plastic materials have been used to create various furniture and goods.
The participation of Vietnamese businesses at AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 is sponsored by the National Innovation Center (NIC), the Digital Transformation Center in Vietnam under the German Development Cooperation Organization (GIZ) and the German Department of Economy, Energy and Enterprise.
