Green message from the 2024 'Light off - Ideas on' event

(VAN) With the theme 'Reducing trash for clean - Recycling for green', the 2024 'Light off - Ideas on' aims to raise the community's love for green

Over the past 14 years, the "Light off - Ideas on" campaign has contributed significantly to inspiring and changing the community's awareness of environmental issues.

According to Mr La Hoang Quan, Head of the External Affairs Committee of the event, the message of this year's campaign "Reducing trash for clean - Recycling for green" has attracted the participation of many organizations, businesses and especially individuals and young people interested in environmental issues.

“We want to spread to young people that reducing trash and reusing items in life is not difficult and quite easy. Every small action you take can help make our earth greener and better," Mr. Quan shared.

Individuals attending the program experienced a series of recycling activities and green booths from accompanying businesses and organizations. Attendees can directly bring recyclable waste to collect, exchange gift certificates, recycled products and Garage Sale Change Things - Change Lives: Clothing, electronic devices, ceramics.

In addition, young people who love nature and the environment also take the opportunity to send green messages about collecting, classifying, and recycling waste, protecting wild animals, conserving biodiversity, and protecting the natural environment.

“I personally think that big things are made up of small things. If people want their living environment to be clean and their health to be good, they should change. Instead of throwing waste in one place, we can classify waste. Just from small actions, big things can be achieved," shared Tung Kong, a digital content creator.

In addition, all funds collected from the project will be used for the construction of controlled public waste classification and collection points and support effective waste recycling activities of organizations and businesses.
