Fall in love with the Northwest high quality cinnamon's scent

(VAN) Coming to Van Yen district (Yen Bai) around this time, each of us will be captivated by the scent of cinnamon, a plant that has helped alleviate poverty.

Van Yen is the district with the largest cinnamon area in Yen Bai province. Van Yen district is also known for its good quality essential oil, as well as largely distributed cinnamon trees in 25 communes and towns in the district.

For many years now, cinnamon has made an important contribution to the construction of a new rural area, becoming a staple crop to stick with, feed and help thousands of households in the district step by step rise out of poverty and get rich.

In the district, there are more than 200 establishments, households and 3 cooperatives processing, producing and trading cinnamon and cinnamon varieties.

With the values ​​that cinnamon brings to people's lives, over the years, cinnamon has been identified as a key economic tree and a long-term strategy of Van Yen district. If tourists have the opportunity to come to Van Yen district (Yen Bai) around this time, each of them will be captivated by the scent of cinnamon trees in the northwest high places.

With more than 4,000 hectares of certified organic cinnamon in Europe and the United States, including: Son Ha Spices Company with 2,500 hectares, Olam Vietnam Company with 1,071 hectares, Vicimex Company with 500 hectares. Along with increasing the area, over the years, people have always paid attention to doing good care and protection so that the cinnamon tree grows quickly and on average, the whole district exploits over 2,500 hectares per year.
