Encourage youth in rural areas to startup

(VAN) The peak day of volunteering to build new rural areas in Youth Month 2024 simultaneously took place in suburban districts of Ho Chi Minh City, with many activities on March 17.

Many young people in rural areas respond to the topic of "Startup".

Hoc Mon district was chosen as the main point for many activities on this peak day. 12 booths are introducing products that meet OCOP standards and products made by the district's rural youth, including many safe vegetables, flowers, and ornamental plants.

Secretary of Hoc Mon District Youth Union Tran Thi Thanh Huyen shared that she hopes to be able to introduce and connect better to have more ways to bring as many youth products to the market as possible.

Each product that meets OCOP standards is born with passion, enthusiasm and the dream of improving Vietnamese agricultural products in the future, as well as conveying a message of pride in Vietnamese products so that "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products".

Meanwhile, Cu Chi District Youth Union recognized examples of rural youth doing business effectively and actively sharing and supporting the community. The District Youth Union honored 11 young people good at production and business with effective rural economic models, such as growing clean vegetables, raising cows, and growing high-yield orchids.

Young people also participate in building new rural areas by giving gifts to disadvantaged households and scholarships to poor students...

Binh Chanh Doan District coordinated to organize a training program for each commune, with one OCOP product to accompany and support young people in starting and establishing a business more effectively.

The youth projects "Lighting up the Country Road" and "Fatherland Flag Road" in Xuan Thoi Thuong commune (Hoc Mon) were put into use on the peak day of new rural construction yesterday.

The project, worth VND 125 million, mobilized funds for local support from the Central Youth Union, lighting the T10 canal route with a solar power system to help people travel more conveniently at night.

In Binh Chanh district, the District Youth Union coordinates with units to organize social security activities, taking care of the lives of policy families, people, and children in difficult circumstances. Young people also joined forces to improve the landscape of the Cai Trung Canal (Tan Kien commune), implemented "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" roads in the area, and painted murals at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School.

You also advise people on handling domestic waste, exchange trash for trees at An Gia apartment building (Tan Tuc town), and launch a propaganda team "Clean, beautiful, safe civilized market". Along with that, constructing a pinwheel road and miniature landscape to create an art destination for everyone at Street No. 21 (Hamlet 2, Binh Hung commune), concreting an alley in Tan Nhut commune with a length of 130m, width of 2m (worth of VND 70 million).

Can Gio District Youth Union has coordinated with units with social security activities, taking care of the lives of policy families, people, and children in difficult circumstances.

Meanwhile, in Nha Be district, young people completed the new painting project of alley 364 walls and the civilized - clean, beautiful - safe alley in hamlet 4 (Phuoc Loc commune). Phu Xuan commune has a children's festival and training session on "Application of odor pollution treatment technology in residential areas".
