Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presented establishment resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment

(VAN) On March 1, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a ceremony to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Decision on personnel work.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment Le Quang Huy; Minister Do Duc Duy, Deputy Ministers and representatives of units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

On behalf of the Party and State, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presented the Decision to establish the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on the fundamentals of merging the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), and at the same time receiving additional tasks in poverty reduction from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

The Deputy Prime Minister also presented the Decision to appoint 10 Deputy Ministers to Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Tran Quy Kien, Le Cong Thanh, Le Minh Ngan, Phung Duc Tien, Tran Thanh Nam, Nguyen Quoc Tri, Hoang Trung, and Vo Van Hung.

At the ceremony, the decision to appoint leaders of units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was announced, based on Decree No. 35/2025/ND-CP, stipulating the organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment consisting of 30 units, including 7 departments, 19 bureaus and 4 public service units.
