Global coffee prices remain stable today. Over the past week, Robusta for July delivery dropped by $124/ton (equivalent to 2.29%), while Arabica fell by 14 cents/lb (around 3.61%) compared to the previous week.

Analysts believe the key reason behind the sharp drop in prices is the new 10% base tariff introduced by the White House. This tariff could raise the cost of imported raw materials and negatively impact consumption in the U.S., the world’s second-largest coffee consumer after the European Union.

Thus, coffee prices today, May 5, 2025, remain unchanged globally compared to yesterday.
