Coffee prices on June 26, 2025: Robusta continues to plunge

(VAN) Coffee prices on June 26, 2025 declined globally, with Robusta drop 4%. Domestic prices dropped by VND 2,400 VND, falling to VND 92,000 – 92,500 VND/kg.

Globally, coffee prices on both the London and New York exchanges continued their sharp downward trend on June 26, 2025.

On the London exchange, Robusta for September 2025 delivery dropped further by $ 158 (equivalent to 4.29%), falling to $ 3,524/ton. The November 2025 contract also declined by $160 (equivalent to 4.4%), settling at $ 3,474/ton.

Meanwhile, on the New York exchange, Arabica for September 2025 delivery lost an additional 6.85 cents (equivalent to 2.2%), down to 304.50 cents/lb. The December 2025 contract also fell sharply by 7.75 cents (equivalent to 2.53%), to 298.80 cents/lb.

The market is under significant pressure due to increased supply from the new harvest in Brazil, along with favorable weather forecasts that reduce the risk of frost in major growing regions such as São Paulo and Minas Gerais.

Prices are also being pushed lower by a weaker Brazilian real, which encourages exports. However, declining Robusta and Arabica inventories

In Vietnam, the domestic coffee market continued to decline sharply on June 26, 2025, compared to yesterday.

Specifically, in Lam Dong province, the three districts of Di Linh, Bao Loc, and Lam Ha are all trading at VND 92,000/kg.

In Dak Lak, Cu M’gar district is purchasing coffee at VND 92,500/kg, while Ea H’leo and Buon Ho are trading at VND 92,400/kg.

In Dak Nong province, traders in Gia Nghia and Dak R’lap are buying at VND 92,500/kg and VND 92,400/kg, respectively.

In Gia Lai province, Chu Prong district is trading at VND 92,100/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are holding at VND 92,000/kg.

Meanwhile, in Kon Tum, coffee is being purchased today at VND 92,100/kg.

Thus, domestic coffee prices on June 26, 2025, are trading around VND 92,000 – VND 92,500/kg.
