In the world market, the coffee prices today, July 27, turn to increase back in boh exchanges after many days of opposite adjustments.
Ending the latest session, the Robusta coffee price in London exchange delivered in September 2021 increases by US$ 65 per ton at US$ 1,964 per ton and increases by US$ 68 per ton at US$ 1,975 per ton for November delivery.
Likewise, the Arabica coffee price delivered in September 2021 increases by Cent 18.80 per pound at Cent 207.8 per pound and increases by Cent 18.75 per pound at Cent 210.7 per pound for December delivery.
These increases in both Robusta and Arabica coffee prices are due to the frosty weather in Brazil.
In addition, the outbreak of the Covid-19's new waves globally has caused many markets to re-establish social distancing measures. Slowdowns in supply from many producing countries result from a lack of shipping containers and rising freight fees.
Currently, the world coffee market is "trading according to the weather." But with the current frost weather in Brazil, it is unknown whether the speculators on the two exchanges have immediately taken profits or still let the price at high levels.
