Coffee price today on the world market experienced a sharp increase again when the US dollar fell dramatically due to the US presidential election.

Global coffee price today

In the world market, coffee price today Nov 6 fell sharply again on London and New York floors. 

At the end of last week’s session (Vietnamese time), the delivery price of Robusta coffee in November 2020 in London increased $26 tons (2.01%) at $1.319 USD/ton, in March 2021 increased $24 at 1.350/ton.

In New York, Arabica coffee’s delivery price in December 2020 increased 2.95 cents/lb (2.86%) at 105.95 cents/lb, in March 2021 increased by 2.8 cents/lb. (2.65%) to 108.45 cents/lb.

Currently, the value of the dollar fell to the lowest for the past two weeks while the Reais (Brazil) rose, resulting in a sharp increase on the two world coffee floors.

The market was likely to fluctuate much waiting for the US election’s result, the coming harvest in Vietnam and the Eta storm going to hit the Arabica coffee growing countries in Central America.

So the price of coffee today Nov 6 2020 in the world market experienced a sharp increase because the US presidential election resulted in the US dollar fell dramatically. 

Domestic coffee price today

Coffee price in the domestic market today Nov 6 increased following world price, up again to VND 33 million/ton. 

Specifically, the price of coffee in Di Linh district (Lam Dong) was at VND 32,400 / kg, in Bao Loc district (Lam Dong) and Lam Ha (Lam Dong) at VND 32,500/kg.

In Cu M'gar district (Dak Lak), coffee price today remained stable at VND 33,100/kg. In Ea H'leo (Dak Lak) and Buon Ho (Dak Lak) districts at VND 33,000/kg.

In Gia Nghia and Dak R'lap of Dak Nong province, coffee price today was VND 32,900/kg.

In Gia Lai province, today's coffee price was at VND 33,000/kg (Chu Prong), in Pleiku and La Grai VND 32,900/kg, in Kon Tum VND 32,800/kg

So the price of coffee today Nov 6 2020 in the domestic market fluctuated around VND 32,400 - 33,100/kg.
