Typhoon Goni is forecasted to enter East Sea early this week and directly affect the Central and Central Highlands regions. By end October 2020, multiple of Vietnam’s key areas for coffee production including Central Highlands had not been harvested due to the slow ripening of coffee resulting from humidity and a lack of sunlight.

Given that fact, experts predict that depending on the impact of Typhoon No.10, raw coffee price in the Central Highlands will vary by wide amplitude, possibly reaching VND 34 million / ton but only in a flash.
