Binh Duong accounts for nearly half of the total value of Vietnam's wood exports

Binh Duong accounts for nearly half of the total export value of more than US$12 billion of the wood industry in 2020, continuing to be the largest wood exporting province in Vietnam.

According to the General Department of Customs, Binh Duong continues to be the leading province in the export turnover of wood and wood products in 2020 with a value of US$ 5.68 billion, accounting for over 47.3% of the total export value of the wood industry.

Dong Nai ranked second, reaching US$1.61 billion, accounting for 13.5% of the total export value of the industry; Ho Chi Minh City ranked third at US$1.02 billion, accounting for 8.5%; Binh Dinh ranked 4th at US$ 0.54 billion, 4.4%. At the 5th position is Hanoi with US$ 0.44 billion, accounting for 3.7%.

Followed by the provinces with an export value of US$ 100-200 million, accounting for 1-2% of the total export value of wood such as: Quang Ngai (2.2%); Quang Nam (2.0%); Long An (1.7%); Quang Ninh (1.6%); Vinh Phuc (1.3%); Binh Phuoc (1.3%); Nghe An (1.1%); Vung Tau (1.1%). Other provinces and cities account for 10.3% of the total export value of the industry.
