Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee set the goal of the project to conserve and develop sarus cranes in Tram Chim National Park for the period 2022 - 2032 to restore and develop the red-crowned crane population by raising and releasing them back into the wild. During the period 2022 - 2032, the project's goal is to raise 100 cranes with at least 50 survivors. The released cranes can reproduce on their own, survive in the wild and live year-round in Tram Chim National Park.
