Gold Coin Feedmill Long An is built in Nhut Chanh Industrial Park, Ben Luc District, Long An Province, on an area of 3.8 hectares, with a total investment of USD 45 million. The factory has a designed capacity of 300 thousand tons per year, bringing the total capacity of Aboitiz Foods in Vietnam to 1.1 million tons of animal feed and nutrition per year.
This is the 6th factory in Vietnam and one of the most modern animal feed factories in Southeast Asia - designed by the group's team of engineers and experts with automatic, closed production technology from famous brands such as Bühler (Switzerland), Van Aarsen (Netherlands), Symaga (Spain) and Premier Tech (UK).
Gold Coin Feedmill Long An will produce complete mixed feed, concentrated feed for livestock and poultry, and specific products for each region. Gold Coin Feedmill Long An applies 4.0 technology in production and invests in modern laboratories to ensure stable quality, improve efficiency, and save money. Thanks to that, the quality control of raw materials and finished products is carried out quickly and accurately, promoting the goal of researching and developing new products.
Tristan Aboitiz, Chairman and CEO of Aboitiz Foods Group, expects that the Gold Coin Feedmill Long An factory will bring sustainable growth and attractive profits to animal feed dealers and livestock farms, provide stable jobs for hundreds of workers, and contribute to the budget of Long An province.
In addition, the factory will promote the business activities of partners, associated with community development, transforming to adapt to new needs in the livestock industry and significant challenges from the animal feed market; at the same time, contributing to perfecting the food supply chain and safety for the provinces in the Central, Southern and Mekong Delta regions. Tristan Aboitiz emphasized that the operation of the Gold Coin Feedmill Long An factory is an essential step in the more than 30-year journey of Gold Coin (now a brand of Aboitiz Foods) in Vietnam, affirming its commitment to accompany and develop with the Vietnamese livestock industry.
Speaking at the factory inauguration ceremony, Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Vietnam Livestock Association, said that due to the unique natural conditions of Vietnam, diseases and livelihoods in livestock farming are increasingly becoming significant challenges to sustainable livestock development. Therefore, the operation of this factory is good news for farmers in Long An province in particular and farmers in the Mekong Delta in general. The development of another animal feed factory in Long An province with the most modern production technology in Southeast Asia will significantly contribute to the livestock industry's deep integration into the international market...
Ha Van Minh, Director of Gold Coin Vietnam, shared: "In the development strategy of the past ten years, our company has focused on covering from North to South through the construction of 6 factories in the North and South. The factory in Binh Duong has nearly reached maximum capacity and will reach the maximum in 2025. Therefore, constructing the factory in Long An increases production capacity and serves as a gateway to the Mekong Delta region. We plan to continue investing in building new factories in the Central region (Binh Dinh province)".
