Government website on Employment Service launched

The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Korean Embassy has just held the Opening ceremony for the Employment Service Portal (ESIP) in Hanoi.

This is the result of implementing the Prime Minister's Decision 1586/QD-TTg dated August 11, 2016 approving the investment for the Employment Information Network Project using non-refundable aid from of the Government of Korea, and Decision No. 1165 / QD-TTg dated September 10, 2019 of the Prime Minister on the signing of an Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Republic of Korea on implementing the Employment Service Information Network Development Project in Vietnam using non-refundable aid from the Government of the Republic of Korea.

In the framework of cooperation between the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam, the Employment Service Information Network Development Project has been successfully deployed recently.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Van Thanh affirmed: "I hope that the Employment Service Portal will be the access point, creating an online transaction environment for employers as well as employees. This is a particularly important activity in the context that the Vietnamese government is strongly digitizing in many economic and social fields. "

The Vietnam employment service information network development project is a symbol, the result of the fine traditional friendship between Vietnam and Korea, contributing to promoting cooperation between the two countries in general and two Ministries of Labor in particular.

It is hoped that the employment service portal will be the access point, creating an online transaction environment for workers and businesses. We are currently building a flexible and inclusive labor market. This employment service portal will contribute to the development of the Vietnamese labor market in the coming time.

“The Department of Employment is requested to receive, organize, and guide first for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, at the same time develop a plan to submit to the Ministry for approval to expand to localities nationwide,” Deputy Minister Thanh said.

The Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Park Noh-Wan affirmed: “I think that it is very meaningful to build a portal on Vietnam's employment services. I hope after deploying in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, this portal will be expanded across the country of Vietnam.”

“The opening of the Employment Service Portal and putting it into operation have shown the enthusiasm and goodwill of Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor as well as Korean Government and people in supporting Vietnam develop its labor market, contributing to promoting a comprehensive Vietnam-Korea strategic partnership in general and the cooperation relationship between the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Employment and Labor of Korea in particular,” Mr. Park Noh-Wan confirmed.
