In which, the harvested area is about 400 hectares. In recent years, the area planted with wurfbainia in Muong Khuong district continued to expand and develop. Due to the suitability of the district's climatic and soil conditions, the Wurfbainia tree grows quite well, the average yield is estimated at 11 quintals/ha of fresh fruit, the output is estimated at over 400 tons. With an average selling price of 120,000 VND/kg, Wurfbainia brings in an annual revenue of over 45 billion VND.
Cao Son oolong tea is a Kim Tuyen tea plant grown in Cao Son commune since 2011 with 10 hectares. After 3 years of implementation, Kim Tuyen tea tree was assessed to be suitable for local climate and soil conditions bringing good quality tea products and high income for farmers.
Seeing the economic value from Kim Tuyen tea tree, farmers of Cao Son commune have expanded the Kim Tuyen tea growing area. Currently, the whole commune has nearly 200 hectares, grown mainly in the villages of Ngai Phong Cho, Cao Son, Lo Suoi Tung, Pa Cheo Phin A and B, Lao Cu Chai.
The orientation of Muong Khuong district for tea growing households is to focus on handling the stages of care, intensive cultivation and production according to safety standards to expand the tea growing area; create a mechanism for businesses to invest and associate with farmers to grow high-quality tea in an organic direction, towards sustainable development.

Muong Khuong district also creates favorable conditions for Muong Hoa Co., Ltd. to associate with farmers in the supply of materials and purchase of fresh tea buds. Muong Hoa Co., Ltd. has built a factory to install oolong tea processing system in the center of Cao Son commune, helping tea growers feel secure about the output for the product.
The processing system is on site to yield fresh tea buds, which after harvested, are put into the processing system to ensure the quality of freshness and taste. Cao Son's oolong tea is considered to be of high quality, has a special rich flavor, and most of its products are exported to Taiwan (China).
To Viet Thanh, Vice Chairman of Muong Khuong District People's Committee, said that the products "Muong Khuong Sa Nhan" and "Cao Son Oolong Tea" were registered, established rights and granted protection titles by the National Office of Intellectual Property, creating concentrated power, contributing to the improvement of product quality, creating a healthy business environment, fighting against infringements.
