According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia, Vietnamese dragon fruit not only met the world's leading biosafety import conditions, the produce is also rated 5 stars by consumers in the land of the kangaroos and is welcomed in Australia.
Specifically, on the online shopping page of Woolworths - Australia's largest supermarket chain, all comments about Vietnamese frozen dragon fruit are rating the produce 5 stars. Some comments, for example: "I love it, can I buy it all year round?", "High quality product, high value".
Meanwhile, at the Coles hypermarket, fresh dragon fruits of Red Dragon brand are being sold at AUD$4.9 per fruit. Highly regarded by customers for its quality, fresh Vietnamese dragon fruit is being sold all year round at this supermarket chain.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Australia said that Vietnamese dragon fruit sold in large supermarket chains such as Coles or Woolworths is a confirmation of value and quality.
In addition to these two systems, Vietnamese dragon fruit has appeared in many other large supermarket chains.
In Thaikee, an Asian supermarket, with a prime location situated in the central tourist site of Sydney, Vietnamese dragon fruit is being sold in abundance serving customers and travellers.
At the MCQ supermarket system, the second largest wholesale and retail system in Western Australia, answering a survey by the Vietnam Trade Office, the supermarket representative said, "Dragon fruits keep on supplying and we sell all year round".
Director of HoaAustralia Company, said that dragon fruit is the company strategic product to distribute along the coastal cities of Australia. There are moments where the dragon fruit supply is not enough to keep up with the demand.
