On August 1, the Vietnam Association of Bonsai and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province held a press conference on the event that the exhibition and contest of ornamental creatures in the Central region - Central Highlands expanded in 2023. The exhibition will be held in Quy Nhon City from August 19 - 29 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of September 2.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Quynh, General Secretary of the Vietnam Ornithology Association, there will be thousands of multi-species ornamental works of ornamental plants, bonsai, ornamental flowers, ornamental stone, suiseki stone, feng shui stone, fine art stone, ornamental fish, ornamental bird... from more than 20 provinces and cities and nearly 10 production establishments, gardeners and craft villages across the country participated. More than 20 units are participating in exhibitions and competitions; The rest participate in exhibitions to exchange trade.
According to Mr. Quynh, the Northern region has 3 participating provinces and cities including Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, and Nam Dinh. The southern region has 5 participating provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, and Tien Giang. The Central-Central Highlands region has 9 participating provinces and cities, including Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai, and many clubs affiliated with the Vietnam Ornithology Association.
“The exhibition and contest of ornamental creatures in the Central region - Central Highlands expanded in 2023 is the largest ornamental animal festival in Vietnam ever; an opportunity for local bonsai associations to exchange, trade connections, exchange production experiences, and promote the pet industry with domestic and international tourists", Mr. Nguyen Manh Quynh shared.
