To promote rice of Vietnam to Australian, Vietnam Trade Office in Australia collaborates with a number of enterprises and agencies to organize a series of events from August 18 to September 27, aiming at trademark promotion and trade connectivity.
At these events, consumers in Australia will be gifted 10,000 bags of Ban Mai Cung Dinh rice. Gifts will be distributed via the M-Import company and MCQ supermarket chain, each with one bag of 1 kilogram. Ban Mai Cung Dinh is a well-known rice in West Australia state and consumers there highly appreciate for its quality.
Ban Mai Cung Dinh and other high quality rice are produced by copyrighted varieties of Vietnam. They are grown, harvested and processed in Vietnam, fully meeting all the strict standards and requirements from the creation of planting areas to the end-use products.
All rice products are guaranteed to meet the Food Safety System Standard (FSSC 22,000) of the Netherlands and are certified by the prestigious independent organization Bureau Veritas (UK). FSSC 22,000 is a combination of two certificates ISO 22000 and PAS 220; ensure food safety control throughout the entire supply chain including farms, packaging, packaging materials, storage, distribution, manufacturers and distributors.

In the first 7 months of this year, exports of vegetable and fruit increased by over 45%, exports of aquatics products increased by over 53%, compared to the same period of 2020.

Australia is a potential shrimp export market in the CPTPP market group. In the past 2 years, the export value of Vietnamese shrimp (especially whiteleg shrimp) to the Australian market has been positive. In the second quarter of 2021, there are 81 Vietnamese enterprises participating in exporting shrimp to this market, the largest of which is Minh Phu Seafood Cooperation.
