Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 presents more than 500 food stalls

(VAN) The Vietnam Foodexpo 2024, the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition of 2024, has recently launched, offering a diverse array of food products from various regions of the nation.

Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 takes place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center from November 13 to 16. The Ministry of Industry and Trade hosts the organization, while the Trade Promotion Agency (TPA) coordinates the event in partnership with domestic and international partners. This is the most significant international trade promotion event in Vietnam's marine, agriculture, and culinary industries.

Vietnam Foodexpo 2024, which is celebrating its 10th birthday, now features more than 500 booths from nearly 400 companies. These companies represent more than 30 Vietnamese provinces and more than 20 countries and territories, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and others. The European Union (EU) is actively participating as the Guest of Honour.

Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 continues to be an grand exhibition for the food industry, honoring the national brand value of Vietnamese cuisine. It showcases the most prominent producers and exporters who adhere to the most stringent global standards for food and beverages, thereby facilitating the introduction of Vietnamese cuisine to the most demanding markets worldwide. In Vietnam, the Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 will provide attendees with the opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic environment that showcases a variety of high-quality foods from both domestic and international sources.

The Vietnam Foodexpo 2024 will feature a diverse array of products, such as agricultural products (fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee, pepper, cashews), raw and processed seafood, processed foods and beverages (sweets, butter, dairy, canned and prepared foods, additives and spices, various beverages, functional foods), food processing machinery and equipment, food preservation and packaging technologies, and food safety and hygiene technology.

With over 40 displays encompassing 400 square meters, the National Brand of Vietnam Pavilion, a key highlight of every Vietnam Foodexpo, will be larger than ever. The objective of this pavilion is to elevate the promotional efforts of Vietnamese companies that have products that have attained THQG status in the food and beverage sector.

Ms. Phan Thi Thang, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, stated during the opening ceremony that the exhibition's activities will concentrate on providing businesses with updated information and diverse perspectives on green transformation to assist them in capturing trends and making significant transitions to meet global green and sustainable standards in this year's exhibition. This is a critical foundation and motivation for the promotion of green, sustainable development and economic recovery, following the global trend toward the objective of net-zero emissions by 2050, which Vietnam committed to at the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference.
