Vietstock Awards is a prestigious title that Vietnamese enterprises and organizations in livestock production and fishery disciplines strive for. As a partner of the Department of Livestock Production, MARD has successfully organized Vietnam's international expo on livestock, animal feed, aquaculture, and flesh processing (Vietstock 2023) and the Aquaculture Vietnam Expo for the past 11 years. Ms. Rose Chitanuwat, Director of the ASEAN project chain for Informa Markets, disclosed that the Vietstock Awards 2023 was organized with numerous awards, including 14 awards for livestock production and 6 awards for aquaculture.
The director of the ASEAN project chain at Informa Markets stated, "This is an honor that no enterprise in the livestock and fisheries industries will want to miss."

During the difficult period of the COVID-19 epidemic, it was the initiative and contributions of the livestock and fisheries industries that aided Vietnam in overcoming the disease.
After the announcement and criteria development period, the organizing committee received 50 applications for admission, of which 35 were from the livestock industry and 15 were from the fishery industry, according to the deputy director, Pham Kim Dang.
The Technical Review Council selected 20 deserving businesses that have significantly contributed to the development of livestock and aquaculture and whose brands are well-known in the marketplace.
"In order to accomplish this, businesses have invested, adapted, innovated, and assisted the livestock industry in gaining access to global technologies. Thus, assisting the livestock and fisheries industries in not only securing food for domestic consumption but also participating in export markets.
Mr. Pham Kim Dang asserted that with the technology and capacity of the livestock and fisheries industries, it is possible to produce products entirely in accordance with international standards, particularly for the world's most demanding markets.
The evening of the Vietstock Awards is an occasion to recognize organizations and businesses for their numerous contributions and innovations acknowledged by society and consumers.
This is also a chance to encourage businesses that have worked with management agencies to reorient and surmount obstacles, providing positive recovery indicators in the first nine months of 2023.
To ensure the sustainable development of the livestock and fisheries industries, Deputy Director of the Department of Livestock Pham Kim Dang anticipates that he will continue to receive contributions from businesses, organizations, and associations that support the government-approved sustainable development of livestock production in particular and the agricultural sector in general.
