According to the draft plan, the 2nd Mekong Delta Startup Forum 2024 with the theme "Green Economy - New Motivation for Development" will be organized by the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province. The event is expected to take place in November 2024 at the Dong Thap Labor Cultural House (No. 181 Ngo Thoi Nham, Ward 1, Cao Lanh City).
The forum will include key activities such as the opening ceremony and exhibition space showcasing startup innovation products and models, emission reduction technologies, green technology products, and other specific fields of the Mekong Delta. Additionally, there will be introductions and demonstrations of emission reduction models, green transition technologies, digital technologies, the final round of the "Mekong Initiative 2024" competition, connection sessions (talkshows) between large enterprises, investment funds, experts from both domestic and international backgrounds with startups, SMEs, public-private dialogue sessions, and plenary sessions.
Prior to the Forum, there will be training sessions to raise awareness and promote actions towards green transition and emission reduction, and the launch of the "Mekong Initiative 2024" program.
Mr. Pham Thien Nghia, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province, stated that the 2nd Mekong Startup Forum will help build the image of a dynamic and creative startup locality. The province also calls for public investment projects, activates private investment projects, and continues to make a friendly government, applying digital transformation in various fields to serve the people with more concrete activities.
