In addition to Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Central delegates and leaders, leaders of ministries and sectors, delegates of Thai Binh province, and representative leaders of corporations and enterprises that are active investors in Thai Binh province, attended the recent Conference on Master Plan Announcement and Investment Promotion of Thai Binh province.
At the conference, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee represented the Party, the government, and the people of Thai Binh province in receiving the Decision approving the Provincial Planning of Thai Binh for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 from the Prime Minister.
The Provincial Planning of Thai Binh for the years 2021-2030, with a long-term vision to 2050, is a momentous occasion that reaffirms the province's ambition for progress and strategic vision, defines the fundamental principles and motivating factors for development, and ensures that the province's capabilities, strengths, and solid groundwork are utilized to their fullest extent in pursuit of achieving relatively developed status in the Red River Delta region by 2030.
As an investor in the "Project for investing in the construction of a high-quality rice processing plant and agricultural products," ThaiBinh Seed Corporation attended the conference. In accordance with the provincial planning of Thai Binh for the years 2021 to 2030, the 9.5-hectare undertaking requires an total investment of 626 billion VND. With an annual rice processing capacity of 50,000 tons, construction of the facility is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2024 and conclude in 2028.
Mr. Tran Manh Bao, General Director of ThaiBinh Seed Corporation, was granted the Decision authorizing the investment proposal, registration certificate, and cooperation agreement for the aforementioned project during the conference proceedings. This signifies the Corporation's path of growth and progress, in addition to the province's mission bestowed upon it at the onset of spring: capitalizing on agricultural capabilities, concentrating on rice production, and transforming Thai Binh into a province "living on rice and enriching through rice".
