Support the connection of agricultural output into the harvest crops

(VAN) Support for agricultural product production entering harvest crops may help alleviate the situation of stagnation and sharp declines in the prices of some agricultural goods.
The social distancing order to control the Covid-19 pandemic has led to massive stagnation and a steep reduction in the prices of certain agricultural products.

The social distancing order to control the Covid-19 pandemic has led to massive stagnation and a steep reduction in the prices of certain agricultural products.

On September 10, the Government Office issued a document expressing Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's opinion on supporting the connection of agricultural products that enter harvest crops in localities during the implementation of social distancing.

The document clarifies that as a result of the social distancing orders, agricultural processing and consumption in some southern localities such as Binh Duong and Dong are staggered, resulting in a massive stagnation and steep reduction in prices of certain agricultural products, posing the risk of affecting future production and supply.

To address the problem, PM Pham Minh Chinh appointed MARD to chair and coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant localities in order to carefully monitor the agricultural consumption situation and provide timely assistance for the production of agricultural goods entering harvest crops.
