Grobest Industrial Vietnam Co. Ltd. has cooperated with five leading shrimp hatcheries in Vietnam to diversify sources of high – quality shrimp seeds, creating a favourable condition for shrimp farmers to have bumper crops.

Grobest with its 40 – year technical expertise in seafood nutrition industry together with the farms’ practical shrimp - seed production experience will help optimize shrimp - seed production process of effective growth so as to bringing high – quality sources of shrimp seeds.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Director of Service and Technical Consulting Division – Grobest Vietnam shared: “Shrimps seeds is considered as the key important factor in determining a successful crop. However, Vietnamese shrimp farmers have few opportunities to access and select high - quality shrimp seed sources. Fully understanding this, Grobest, in coordination with reputable shrimp hatcheries, have carried out a technical support and nutrition consulting program to help customers access shrimp seed sources of high - quality growth. We believe that this is a good opportunity for Vietnamese shrimp farms to have bumper crops in the future.”

During cooperation process, Grobest and partners have agreed on the source of used broodstock, nutrition criteria for each larva stage and the criteria for the Post Larva product for sale.  Grobest has also established technician teams for regular survey and monitoring to ensure the quality of the output of Post Larva product based on specific criteria.

Through experiments, shrimp - seed source jointly produced by Grobest and shrimp – seed production enterprises has been proved to help shrimps stay strong with good resistance in key periods, shrimp farmers shorten farming time, save food costs… especially shrimp seeds can reach 30 shrimps per kilogram in 90 days.
