On March 8, at the Conference to connect and build a sustainable supply chain and improve the quality of Vietnamese goods, Saigon Co.op signed memorandums of understanding with 6 businesses and cooperatives: Anh Hoang Thy, San Ha (providing cattle meat, poultry); Nhuan Duc safe vegetable production cooperative, Mekong Delta Food Company, Xuan Thai Thinh company (supplying fruits and vegetables); Tan My Cooperative (fruit supplier). Currently, these partners supply an average of 500 tons of goods per month to Saigon Co.op's distribution systems.

Saigon Co.op and these units are committed to building a sustainable green supply chain to serve consumers, ensuring benefits for consumer health, production and business efficiency, market stabilization, and improving the campaign's effectiveness for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese products.

This cooperation aims to connect and support market development for domestically produced goods and unique products of Ho Chi Minh City that compete with imported goods and are export-oriented; Create favorable conditions for Saigon Co.op and business partners to connect directly, quickly and promptly share market information, experience in developing distribution channels, and standard information to bring goods into market in the distribution systems of Saigon Co.op.

In addition, this cooperation also contributes to giving Vietnamese and domestically produced goods the opportunity to export to the international market through Saigon Co.op's strategic partner, NTUC FairPrice (Singapore). In 2023, Saigon Co.op exported Vietnamese agricultural and aquatic products to the Singapore market with a total export value of nearly VND 90 billion through strategic partner NTUC FairPrice.

Saigon Co.op and the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City proactively combine and mobilize businesses operating in high-tech agriculture, agricultural and food processing and production and supply of local specialty products. The city and neighboring provinces have good products, reputations, and advanced technology. At the same time, they need to participate in business connections to help businesses expand their business network.

In 2023, Saigon Co.op achieved a revenue of nearly VND 30,000 billion, of which online sales reached more than VND 1,700 billion, growing 20.7% over the same period.
