Prepare all conditions to export coconuts and frozen durians

(VAN) Director of the Plant Protection Department Huynh Tan Dat requested the review of growing areas and facilities packing coconuts and frozen durians.

Document No. 689/BVTV-HTQT dated 03/26/2024 states: To prepare all conditions for registration of planting unit codes and packaging facilities and to accelerate the process of opening the market for fresh coconuts and frozen durians exported from Vietnam to China; after the Protocol was signed, The Plant Protection Department requests the Crop Production and Plant Protection Sub-department/Professional agencies of provinces and cities to coordinate in implementing the following contents:

Inform and guide organizations and individuals wishing to register growing areas, fresh coconut packaging facilities and frozen durian packaging facilities for export to the Chinese market.

Review, check and evaluate the field and compile a list of growing areas and packaging facilities for fresh coconuts (green-shelled fruit, peeled coconuts) and packaging facilities for frozen durian (durian fruit with skin, durian puree and durian pulp without skin), require them to have enough documents, equipment and machinery to meet the plant quarantine and food safety requirements of the importing country; send the results of the evaluated list to the Plant Protection Department no later than April 1, 2024 for synthesis.

During implementation, if you have any problems or need more detailed instructions, please immediately inform the Plant Protection Department for timely resolution.
