A plan on Land Law implementation reviewal and revised Land Law project was introduced late last year, clarifying tasks for ministries, agencies and localities.
To ensure the schemes and quality of the reviewal, Prime Minister has asked ministries, agencies and localities to speed up their reviewal and submit results to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE).
Accordingly, People’s Committees of centrally-run cities and provinces must submit their reports by May 15, 2021, while ministries and ministry-level agencies must submit their reports by June 30, 2021.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment was asked to co-operate with relevant agencies to conduct relevant activities and timely report to the Government.
When reviewing the implementation of the Land Law, ministries, agencies and localities were asked to concentrate on issues including the overlapping or conflicts between the Land Law with other specialised laws, results of the law implementation, the quality of Government’s land management, the shortcomings of regulations in the Land Law and other legal documents.
They were also asked to identify causes for the shortcomings and then, make recommendations to amend and add contents to the revised Land Law as well as other related laws.
Individuals, organisations, researchers, managers and enterprises were called on to give opinions and joining the Land Law implementation reviewal.
