On the occasion of the launch of the first issue of the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper, on behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister and with my personal feelings, I would like to send my best wishes to the Editorial Board, officers, reporters, editors, staff of the Newspaper and all readers.

Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper (VAN News) enters a new beginning with the mission of pioneering in accompanying the agriculture and environment sector to enter the era of green and sustainable development, contributing to the realization of strategic goals.

These goals include developing agroecology, modern countryside, civilized farmers; effectively managing natural resources, protecting the environment, responding to climate change, and sustainable poverty reduction. With a wide scope of management encompassing land resources, islands, water, minerals, and agricultural production and rural development, VAN News has the opportunity to affirm its position as a leading newspaper, attracting the attention of a large number of readers.

To fulfill this mission, the Newspaper must play a vital role as a bridge and source of innovation, be effective in policy communication, and put the Party and State's policies into practice. At the same time, it must reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Each article and news bulletin carries the pulse and breath of life, arousing the spirit of innovation and the desire to rise up.

Specialized pages and columns cater to the needs of rural readers and farmers, connecting them with scientists and research institutions while providing official market information and timely forecasts. In particular, the Newspaper needs to promote the application of science and technology, innovation in agriculture and the environment, from plant varieties, cultivation techniques to resource management and pollution treatment, contributing to improving productivity, quality and sustainability.

In the new era of development with the trend of green transformation, digital transformation and globalization; the strong development of science and technology; the rapid movement of the world; the practice of innovation, dynamic development of the country, of the agricultural and environmental sectors; especially the fierce competition of all types of information and communication requires the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper to take the lead in applying technology, transforming production methods and providing multi-platform, multi-media information.

Newspapers need to approach the development trend of modern journalism, combining quality content with advanced technology to master digital platforms, orient public opinion and create a positive flow of information in cyberspace. At the same time, promote green agricultural models, circular economy, and technological initiatives to protect the environment, contributing to the development of smart, environmentally friendly agriculture.

VAN News need to create an environment for each journalist to develop their mettle, creativity, and dedication; build a team of journalists who are politically and ideologically strong, professionally modern, internationally integrated and always maintain professional ethics. Timely correction of deviations and dissemination of humanistic values will contribute to building a professional and trustworthy press, accompanying the agricultural and environmental sectors on their journey of innovation.

I believe that, with modern journalism thinking, content that breathes life, approaches readers' information needs, along with maturity, steadfastness in political will, moral qualities and increasingly professional expertise, the team of journalists, reporters, editors, VAN News will effectively contribute to the development of the agricultural and environmental sectors, influencing the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous country. The newspaper will become a leading advocate for green communication, digital innovation, and sustainable development, supporting the country's growth.

I wish the Vietnam Agriculture and Nature Newspaper would continue to develop, become a symbol of pioneering journalism, and contribute to the agricultural and environmental sectors in the new era.
