Launched in Vietnam in 2023, the Incipio 200SC product with PLINAZOLIN technology and the slogan "Killing Pests Concussively" has proven its outstanding effectiveness in eliminating rice leaf folders. According to the results of thousands of field experiments and product demonstration sites throughout the Mekong Delta, the effectiveness of destroying rice leaf folders when using Incipio 200 SC is up to more than 98%.

Speaking at the launch of the Incipio 200SC product in the Northern market, Mr. Tran Thanh Vu, General Director of Syngenta Vietnam Co., Ltd., said: "With outstanding advantages proven in the Southern market, the Incipio 200SC product promises to help Northern farmers effectively prevent leaf folders, minimize the number of spraying times, and maximize profits for farmers."

Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Commercial Technical Director of Syngenta Vietnam, presented the characteristics and properties of Plinazolin technology and the Incipio 200SC product. Accordingly, Plinazolin technology is Syngenta's invention for breaking down the resistance of pests through today’s completely new and most advanced mechanism of action.

With more than 15 years of research and development, selected from more than 10,000 different active elements, and passing over 4,000 field experiments, Plinazolin Technology has been launched in Europe, Australia, South Korea, etc., and in the Vietnamese market with the trade name of Incipio 200SC.

According to Mr. Minh, Incipio 200SC's mission is to create a new standard in the pesticide industry in Vietnam. With active elements and a completely new mechanism of action, the unique representative in the IRAC 30 group, Incipio 200SC, brings a breakthrough impact on breaking down the drug resistance of pests and brings clear and superior effectiveness in controlling rice leaf folders today. Images of destroyed pests were shown live at the launch.

Representing the functional agency in the field of plant protection, Mr. Ha Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Plant Protection Research Institute, shared the testing results of Incipio 200SC. Since 2022 in Vietnam, Incipio has been tested on a large scale and recognized for its outstanding performance by most central agricultural agencies, institutes, schools, sub-departments, cultivation stations, and plant protection stations in all provinces and cities across the country.

After successfully conquering the Southern market, the appearance of the Incipio 200SC pesticide product in the Northern market will help farmers reduce worries about harmful organisms. The product is packaged with a capacity of 5 ml, specifically for the Northern region. This capacity is completely consistent with farmers' farming practices and pesticide use habits and helps farmers manage leaf folders more effectively.

Syngenta Vietnam's leadership and representatives of agencies and partner units jointly make a toast to the launch of Incipio 200SC Pesticide. As of now, more than 1 million hectares of rice have been used with Incipio 200SC to manage drug-resistant leaf folders. According to survey results, more than 95% of farmers who have used Incipio 200SC are satisfied with the product's effectiveness.
