TDL Solutions is an enterprise specializing in providing green solutions to develop sustainable business models in the fields of real estate, agriculture...

In the field of agriculture, TDL Solutions is implementing sustainable agricultural projects, including organic agriculture and ecological agriculture. After more than 3 years of implementing sustainable agricultural production, TDL Solutions and a number of founders and farmers established Tin Duc Cooperative in Ngoc Hoi district (Kon Tum province) to produce coffee with a process that does not use chemical fertilizers, plant protection drugs, growth stimulants with chemical ingredients... Up to now, Tin Duc Cooperative has introduced two main products to the market: organic coffee and dried bamboo shoots under the brand name Eco Herbs brand.

While many businesses choose the development option of becoming a partner of farmers, TDI Solutions selects the option of accompanying farmers in organic and ecological agriculture. Accordingly, farmers will follow TDL Solutions' process. The Company organizes training sessions and talks with farmers so that farmers can develop their own gardens and accompany the Company for a long time. This solution is for Tin Duc Cooperative to build a large and sustainable raw material area gradually.

Sharing his experience in starting a business with organic agriculture and green entrepreneurship, Mr. Thai Dung Linh, CEO of TDL Solutions, said: "We choose organic agriculture because organic agriculture is one of the suitable solutions." if we want to have a positive impact on the environment.”

Mr. Linh said investing in sustainable and organic agriculture is a medium and long-term process. There must be a plan from the beginning to go through the medium and long term process. That's why when implementing the sustainable development program, TDL Solutions chose the ESG criteria set and considered this as the framework to create the entire business plan as well as build long-term, medium-term and short-term strategies. From there, TDL Solutions established a team and communicated to all partners.

ESG is the acronym for environment, society and governance. But with our experience, TDL Solutions understands the three words "E", "S" and "G" a little differently. Accordingly, "E" is "engagement", that is, commitment. To achieve their goals, commitment is extremely important for startups in general and organic agriculture startups in particular.

The letter "S" here stands for strategy. Accordingly, startups must have a very clear strategy to avoid falling into a situation where they see the market has a high demand for a product and then run to make that product, leading to a loss of ability to generate competitive position.

The letter "S" also stands for "strength", which means internal force. Organic agriculture startups must clearly understand their own internal resources. Entrepreneurs cannot compare their business with other people's businesses, because each business will have a different internal strength. Understanding your internal strengths is an extremely important key to creating a competitive position for your business in the market.

Finally, the letter "G", in addition to the meaning of governance, also means goals. That means good governance will bring entrepreneurs the desired results and achieve their goals. This result includes the impacts the business wants to create that will also create economic benefits. Because businesses want to go long distances and support their partners more, they must undoubtedly be economically effective.

Mr. Thai Dung Linh emphasized that, of course, the ESG criteria set is only a general framework. Based on its vision and internal resources, each business will have its own strategy. But businesses should stick to that framework to avoid falling into a situation where working for a while feels tiring or constantly changing according to market fluctuations, which will unintentionally put the business in a vicious cycle, no longer possible. Know what direction to develop.

Organic agricultural production not only creates safe food but also ensures a sustainable ecosystem. This trend has been increasing continuously in recent years in the Mekong Delta and is expected to continue to increase in the near future.

In particular, on June 23, 2020, the Prime Minister approved the Project to develop organic agriculture for the period 2020 - 2030, affirming Vietnam's determination to develop organic agriculture and create certified products following regional and world organic agriculture standards.
