The award is presented by HR Asia - Asia's leading HR magazine to honor companies with the best working environment based on survey results from employees and transparent evaluation of the Judging Council. The award once again affirms Nutifood's commitment to creating a "second home" for nearly 6,000 employees working at the company.
Also within the framework of the HR Asia Awards, Nutifood won a double prize when winning the "HR Asia Most Caring Company" category - one of three new awards this year to recognize businesses that have shown positive interest in their employees, especially during difficult times.
It is no coincidence that Nutifood has surpassed more than 600 businesses and organizations to be honored as "Asia's Best Workplace" for the fourth time in a row. After many rounds of rigorous evaluation by HR Asia research department, for many years, Nutifood has been evaluated to meet well and harmoniously combine many factors including: organization and corporate culture (CORE); individual emotional and motivational index (SELF); and also the level of harmony and dynamism of the collective (GROUP).
Specifically, the survey's results in 2023 show that Nutifood's scores in most categories are superior to the average score of the whole market. In particular, with the survey question about the commitment to remaining a tight-knit relationship with the company in the future, Nutifood scored 4.4 points, far exceeding the market average score of 3.98.
As the representative of Nutifood to receive the award, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Nam - the Deputy General Director of the Human Resources – Administration – Legal Division of Nutifood shared: “The Asia Best Workplace Award and HR Asia Most Caring Company are worthy of recognition for the efforts of all Nutifood staff who have joined hands to create a leading professional, transparent, open and humane working environment in the region. This confirms Nutifood's commitment to building and developing a diverse working environment with a culture of care, recognition and improvement."
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Nam, winning these awards is the result of a long strategic process, because the journey to build a "second home" for employees at Nutifood has been started since the first year of the 2000s, right when the founders laid the first foundation for the goal of creating the most practical values for the community.
During the development process, Nutifood always strives to create a professional, friendly and humane working environment, where employees can express themselves as well as receive comprehensive care.
In order for each employee to maximize their potential, the company builds a roadmap for capacity discovery and development for each position; a transparent policy of recognition and evaluation, reward and fair promotion opportunities based on the efforts, contributions and talents of each member. In 2022, Nutifood recorded an impressive internal promotion rate of nearly 60%, many high-ranking personnel today have also started as employees.
Every year, the enterprise also organizes periodical activities of general health checks, team building, sports day, etc. to help employees develop both physically and mentally.
In particular, at Nutifood, the culture of "giving" becomes its own identity that is spread from the Board of Directors to the staff, creating a solid foundation for Nutifood to effectively manage human resources and connect all working employees towards a common goal. Since then, a series of action programs to join hands to help disadvantaged people in society have been implemented or a Nutifood Mutual Fund for employees with difficult circumstances has been established.
Notably, in 2023, while many businesses were forced to cut staff to preserve "business health", Nutifood made an impression when reversing the tide, implementing a series of innovative policies for employees such as: implementing comprehensive salary adjustment, upgrading welfare policy, applying digitalization to operation management to improve working efficiency... This is also the reason why Nutifood won the "double win" in the category “HR Asia Most Caring Company”, in addition to this year’s “Best Workplace in Asia” award.
Sharing about the working environment at Nutifood, Ms. Kieu Duyen, the Supervisor of Human Resources Department with 2-years experiment of working at the company said: “I have been through many companies before, but since joining Nutifood, I feel that this is a very different environment, it makes me feel like a family. The Board of Directors always pays close attention to the employees' lives, as well as listening and sharing advice. Colleagues are also friendly, sociable, enthusiastic support. Besides, the working environment is also very professional and thriving. I feel fortunate to be working here and look forward to a long-term association with the company.”
It can be said that, with the right steps in the strategy of building, developing and managing human resources, Nutifood is successfully becoming the "second home" of employees, creating a team of professional, united, sharing, willing to commit and devote themselves to the development of Nutifood in particular and the economy of the country in general.
