After 20 years of persistently pursuing the path of organic farming, Que Lam Group has so far built a circular production chain from organic fertilizers to biosafety livestock and organic farming.
The Group currently has 13 affiliated companies, including seven factories producing micro-organic fertilizers spread across the country (North - Central - Central Highlands - South) to supply nearly 1 million tonnes of organic fertilizer annually. In addition, some factories with hundreds of billions of dong are installed with the most modern machinery lines in Southeast Asia, such as the BIOTECH Que Lam microbial organic fertilizer factory in Vinh Phuc province, the bio-organic fertilizer factory in Vinh Phuc province. Que Lam Long An fertilizer plant, Que Lam Tam Phuoc fertilizer factory in Dong Nai province.
The Group has built a 4F (Farm- Food - Feed - Fertilizer) bio-secure livestock chain, which is built on 15 hectares with a total investment of VND 700 billion in Phong Thu commune, Phong district. Dien, Thua Thien - Hue province.
The application of microbiological technology in the entire breeding process of Que Lam from breeding to barns, care, disease prevention, product quality has been proven by the success of the model on the market throughout the provinces in the country.
More importantly, with perseverance and consistency in the journey of organic farming, Que Lam Group has contributed to changing the perception and thinking of farmers, scientists, and managers.
If in 2018 only 32 provinces accompanied Que Lam on an area of nearly 60,000 hectares of crops, by 2020, there have been 51 provinces and cities participating in an area of more than 100,000 hectares. These are very encouraging results, showing that the awareness of organic and circular agriculture has changed the landscape of agricultural production in Vietnam.
According to the circular economy chain in agriculture from fertilizer to farming and animal husbandry, Que Lam's models are increasingly resonating and spreading widely throughout the country. Many agencies, organizations, units, localities, and farmers also actively associate and cooperate with Que Lam Group to produce organic agriculture, creating a product chain with high added value, serving domestic consumers and export.
The desire of Que Lam Group and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam, is to share experiences, cooperate to expand the scope of activities, collaborate to develop and transfer effective models of agriculture. Que Lam's organic industry for other segments of society. Thereby spreading and promoting the development of green - clean - safe - sustainable agriculture, responsible agriculture for the environment and community health, shared agriculture, etc.
Minister Le Minh Hoan shared that if agriculture trades off many costs, abuses inorganic inputs, and many other harmful substances, we will make immediate profits, but resources no longer have nutritional value.
Therefore, it is time for us to work together to create new agriculture that adapts to climate change, adapts to the trend of greening the economy.
"The idea of Que Lam Group to establish the Vietnam Circular Agriculture Association is great. I hope that we will share the orientation towards circular agriculture from the models of Que Lam Group and other businesses connect to create a circular agricultural ecosystem of businesses responsible for society and the country", Minister Le Minh Hoan affirmed.
Also, according to Minister Le Minh Hoan, with the Circular Agriculture Association, businesses in the agricultural sector and millions of farmer households are members of the circular agricultural ecosystem, sharing, creating, and benefiting from the result of that ecosystem.
Circular agriculture may not be achieved immediately, but it requires perseverance, perseverance, and patience for many years. Still, it is an indispensable way to make Vietnam's agriculture transparent, responsible, and sustainable agriculture.
