Nearly 50 foreign and Vietnamese companies seek trade partnerships in AgroViet 2023

(VAN) Within the framework of AgroViet 2023, nearly 30 Vietnamese businesses and 17 foreign businesses have directly interacted and sought partners and trade exchange.

On September 15, within the context of the 23rd International Agriculture Trade Fair – AgroViet 2023, the Agriculture Trade Promotion Center (MARD) organized a trade exchange exercise between Vietnamese and foreign firms.

The purpose of the conference is to promote trade, develop consumption markets, export agricultural products, and connect the supply and demand of Vietnamese agricultural products to the markets of China, the United States, the European Union, and the Asia-European Economic Union. To improve the production efficiency of the agricultural sector, Vietnam has a dire need for the creation of a favorable environment for international businesses seeking investment opportunities in Vietnam, as well as the promotion of exports of agricultural equipment and supplies, production technology, and post-harvest processing technology.

The conference is also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to directly approach and seek opportunities to export agricultural - forestry - and fishery goods and learn about partners and products of machinery, equipment, and supplies to serve agriculture suppliers from countries participating in AgroViet 2023.

At the symposium, a number of South Korean companies presented a variety of clever agricultural production and high-tech agriculture products and applications.

Mr. Park Ki Woo, General Director of GAIA International Vina Company (RoK), stated that the company is a leader in post-harvest agricultural industrial technology product processing technology in South Korea and specializes in providing high-tech technology solutions to the agricultural sector in Korea.

"We provide sensor technologies that can detect abnormalities within fruits and vegetables without the need to cut them open. Mr. Park Ki Woo explained that this sensor technology classifies the hue, shape, and weight of agricultural products using cameras.

Also according to Mr. Park Ki Woo, the company is testing the application of high technology in the system of circulation, preservation, and processing of agricultural products, simultaneously applying it to all types of fruits and vegetables; post-harvest agricultural product management chain technology...

Mr. Park Ki Woo wishes to collaborate with Vietnamese businesses to transfer and distribute optimal technology solutions that will assist Vietnamese farmers, manufacturers, and exporters of agricultural products in overcoming current challenges in meeting stringent requirements for exporting agricultural products to competitive international markets.

At the conference, 30 Vietnamese businesses and 17 foreign businesses (Chinese, Korean, Russian, etc.) directly confronted and traded with one another in order to satisfy their respective purchasing and selling requirements. There are numerous items available for purchase and sale, including groups of vegetables, tubers, and fruits; mechanized equipment, high-tech equipment, and intelligent technology for agricultural production; and agricultural products - processed meals.

Agroviet 2023 will be held in four days (14-17 September 2023) with the theme "Connecting value chains, developing ecological and sustainable agriculture" to promote and expand cooperative and exchange relationships. International economy, promotion of brands, products, and trade transactions, recognition of high-quality agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, OCOP products, and regional agricultural specialties.

AgroViet 2023, with 200 booths and over 1000m2 of vacant land, is specially arranged and decorated into display and experience areas that will introduce you to many diverse and rich agricultural products, OCOP products, typical featured products from international businesses and organizations (China, Korea, Australia, Russia...), with the participation of 45 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, and provinces in the Mekong Delta.

Many agricultural products, OCOP products, and high-value processed products, including ST25 rice, Thai Nguyen tea, Tam Dao yellow flower tea, Nha Trang bird's nest, Lam Dong coffee and macadamia, Ba Lang fish sauce, Quang Nam agarwood and green lim mushrooms, Quang Ninh seafood, Ca Mau crab, and many types of processed vegetables and fresh fruits from the provinces Mekong Delta..., are displayed and introduced at the fair. Numerous agricultural and food products originate from Australia, including abalone, olive oil, Manuka honey, and Australian native flower honey; fresh flowers, vegetables, and fruits from China; food and souvenirs from the Russian Federation, including cheese, butter, sunflower oil, tumblers, and wooden figurines; and so on.

Within the framework of the Fair, the Organizing Committee coordinates with relevant entities to organize conferences and seminars to provide information and connect supply and demand of agricultural products, notably trade connections. between domestic and international businesses. In addition, the area promoting rural tourism and regional culture is a new highlight, introduced for the first time at the Fair to promote and convey the multifamily orientation of agricultural economic development.
