Nafoods Group introduces Vietnamese agricultural products into the Chinese market

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) was hosted between November 5 and November 10 by the Chinese government. Accordingly, the Ministry of Commerce of China, in collaboration with the municipal government of Shanghai, organized the event in Shanghai, China.

With an expansive scale of over 300,000 square meters, the expo attracts the participation of businesses from 150 countries and territories worldwide, with approximately 400,000 visitors. Nafoods Group has actively participated in showcasing its flagship Vietnamese agricultural products at the "2023 China International Import Expo," alongside nearly 60 other Vietnamese businesses.

This annual and prestigious international import expo garners the attention of numerous partners and major importers from around the world. The CIIE 2023 has fully reinstated in scale following the Covid-19 pandemic, with the aim of opening the Chinese market to the world, providing opportunities for countries to access its vast market. Additionally, the event contributes to advancing China's "Belt and Road" initiative as well as its global integration process.

3,000 businesses from 60 different countries around the world attended CIIE 2023, including Nafoods Group. At the event, Nafoods set the goal of expanding the market share for Vietnamese agricultural products, seizing opportunities, and establishing connections with new customers and long-standing partners from mainland China. As a result, Nafoods has chosen to present its core products at the expo in addition to a variety of Vietnamese regional specialties such as dried fruits, frozen durians, fresh fruits, condensed juices, and Puree/NFC juices. The company's long-term objective involves becoming a strategic partner for leading Chinese importers in the company's key product categories.

With over 28 years of experience in the export of agricultural products, Nafoods Group currently possesses modern technological production lines with a closed production process, supplying to over 70 markets worldwide. Vietnamese businesses similar to Nafoods Group have exhibited strong potentials and advantages in terms of high-quality raw materials, competitive pricing, large-scale manufacturing facilities, reasonable transportation costs, European standard-compliant products, and adherence to certifications such as Halal, Kosher, BRC, SGF, ISO 22000. These factors have positioned them to meet the stringent requirements of each international market.

A representative from Nafoods shared, "Regarding the Chinese market, the company is focusing on its puree flagship products including: passion fruit puree (both with seeds and seedless), and kumquat puree. In the future, the company will also introduce new puree products made from soursop, pink guava, watermelon, lychee, and red dragon fruit to meet the preferences of Chinese consumers.

Regarding the IQF product line, the Chinese government has not approved the import of Vietnamese IQF fruit products. However, Nafoods is always prepared to seize opportunities for IQF products, especially IQF durian and durian puree."

China has positioned itself as the largest consumer market for Vietnamese agricultural products for many years, making it a significant target for numerous Vietnamese export businesses. Subsequently, Nafoods has recognized the importance of preserving and expanding its market share in China.

Furthermore, Nafoods has been applying advanced technological solutions in product quality assurance, thereby enhancing the value of its products. Product safety criteria, prioritizing consumer health, are critical for Nafoods. The company's team of experts has remained well-informed on the latest trends and import policies of multiple countries around the world to meet the specific standards of each market.

With the aim of providing high quality products with traceable origins for Chinese consumers, representatives from Nafoods Group and Guangxi Ant Foreign Goods Supply Chain Management Company have signed a strategic partnership agreement. Accordingly, both parties will collaborate in the development of flagship products, strengthen the relationship between the two companies, and support each other in business activities in international markets, especially in key markets such as China.

Following CIIE 2023, Nafoods has established connections with numerous partners around the world, seizing business opportunities and moving closer towards achieving its objectives.
