On the afternoon of February 18, the National Assembly heard a report from Standing Committee member Nguyen Thanh Hai on the review and incorporation of deputies' opinions regarding the election of Mr. Le Minh Hoan as Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly.
Following this, the National Assembly conducted a secret ballot for the position. In the resolution on the election of the Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly, 461 delegates participated in the vote (96.44% of the total number of National Assembly deputies), all of whom voted in favor.
With this election, the 15th National Assembly has two additional Vice Chairmen, bringing the total number of leaders to seven. The leadership now includes National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and six Vice Chairmen: Nguyen Duc Hai, Nguyen Khac Dinh, Tran Quang Phuong, Nguyen Thi Thanh, Le Minh Hoan, and Vu Hong Thanh.
