According to Decision No. 2868/QD-BNN-TCCB dated 17/7/2023 of MARD, Mr Huynh Tan Dat - Deputy Director in charge of Plant Protection Department was appointed to hold the position of Director of Plant Protection Department for 5 years from July 17, 2023.
Mr Huynh Tan Dat was appointed as Director of Plant Protection Department in place of Mr Hoang Trung. Mr Hoang Trung was previously appointed by the Prime Minister to hold the position of Deputy Minister of MARD from June 2.
Mr. Huynh Tan Dat was born in 1974, he currently holds a PhD. Before being appointed as the Director of the Plant Protection Department, Mr Huynh Tan Dat used to hold the position of Head of the Plant Protection Medicines Department (Plant Protection Department), Deputy Director of Plant Protection Department, Deputy Director in charge of Plant Protection Department.
Thus, at present, the Plant Protection Department has 3 Deputy Directors including Mr. and Mrs: Nguyen Quy Duong, Le Van Thiet, and Nguyen Thi Thu Huong.
