Ninh Binh Tourism Week is the province's annual and unique tourism product. This year, this activity becomes even more meaningful as one of the events responding to the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being registered by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Tourism Week will introduce and widely promote the province's unique cultural and historical features, the potential and strengths of tourism resources, and the outstanding global values of Trang An Heritage.
According to Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2024, with the theme "The yellow color of Tam Coc - Trang An" is expected to be held for 8 days (from June 1-8). The opening program will take place at Dong Gung bus station, Tam Coc Bich Dong tourist area, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district.
Attendees can experience boating on the river and admire the most beautiful artistic rice fields in Vietnam with the image of shepherds playing flute and a bustling seasonal atmosphere with local people. Besides, visit traditional handicraft products of the heritage area, such as: Bo Bat pottery-making process, Van Lam embroidery, Ninh Van fine art stone or learn about OCOP products under the Ninh Binh brand; Join the photo tour "Tam Coc golden season" to take unique, impressive photos...
New in this year's Tourism Week is the convergence and display of products from all over the country at Tam Coc walking street and food market. This is also the first time Ninh Binh has organized a goat-fighting competition. Traditional agricultural rituals, such as worshiping the farmer god and celebrating new rice... were recreated with the participation of more than 2,000 people in the heritage core area.
